Featuring headline artist Julian Tsai. Design. Intention. Refinement.

Spring Bonsai
The Curated Grove

Join us for an immersive weekend where horticulture meets high art. Explore the silent dialogue between master and nature, refining the living sculpture that is Bonsai.

Your Journey Starts Here

New to the Art? You Are Welcome.

Bonsai can feel overwhelming, but at its heart, it is a practice of patience and progress. Whether you're here to watch the masters or to take your very first cut, our gates are open to everyone. We've designed this weekend to be as welcoming as it is world-class.

Headline Artist

Julian Tsai

Julian Tsai

Julian Tsai is a bonsai professional based out of Los Angeles, California. His journey led him to travel to Japan to pursue an apprenticeship at Fujikawa Kouka-en. After returning at the onset of COVID, he continued to refine his skills with two other formally trained professionals, Peter Tea and John Wang.

His experience produced a deep and holistic skill set encompassing all stages of development with both deciduous and coniferous varieties. Today, Julian works nationally with his clientele and emphasizes horticulture, technique application, and sustainable development in his work.

Design.

The architectural blueprint of the soul, rendered in wood and needle.

Intention.

Every cut a conscious choice; every wire a path toward future growth.

Refinement.

The pursuit of excellence through patience, time, and seasonal wisdom.
